Calculator results are estimates
The HELOC-vs-refinance calculator and any other interactive tools on the site produce estimates based on the inputs you provide and assumptions built into the underlying model. Actual loan pricing depends on lender-specific factors — your credit tier, income verification, property type, state-level rules, and current market conditions — that the calculator does not and cannot fully capture. Calculator output is illustrative, not a quote. It is not a commitment from any lender, and it is not personalized advice.
